BRENDA GUY

Tax Director

Brenda Guy is Tax Director for Tributum Group. To her role as Tax Director, Brenda brings 30 years of experience in providing effective tax and business strategies to family owned businesses. In addition, Brenda has extensive experience in family wealth planning. She received her B.S. in Business with a concentration in accounting from Sacramento State University and her M.S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. Her CPA licensure is from the state of California.

Brenda is a native of central California. As a result, the early years in her career were focused on large family owned farms. In working with farmers, she provided extensive advice and compliance related to real estate transactions, accounting methods, international structuring, entity selection, wealth transfer and structuring of different business lines. This combination of skills is applicable to all family businesses. Brenda has assisted numerous family businesses effectively transition through 3 generations.

To Brenda, success is a client relationship that collaborative and results in the client’s business and wealth goals being implemented and understood. Brenda’s experience with a big 4 accounting firm instilled a strong ethical focus in her practice. Her approach will always be grounded in applying the tax laws and business practices in the most advantageous way for the client.

Brenda is married to Roland and has two daughters and two grandsons. In addition to spending time with family, her hobbies include exploring our beautiful country in an RV, Sailing, hiking, and playing the clarinet.
